The Oxford Lion’s Club annual Perch Derby was held last Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Chenango Lake, in North Norwich, and yours truly was there!

The derby offered a $1,000 prize, sponsored by NBT Bank, for the first perch caught with a 2013 tag.
There were more than a hundred perch  tagged with this year's 2013 tag perch because that's the main reason everybody was there, If someone caught one of those tagged perch,  it's a $1,000 prize.

Many perch were caught but none with the special tag, so the $1,000 donated by NBT Bank, was given away by drawing of registered anglers at the end of the derby.
