Chenango Forks to Honor Its Champion Football Team on Saturday

Chenango Forks did not let the talk of merging with Chenango Valley distract their football team. Forks was so focused that they walked away with the Section 4 Class C championship.

Forks wrapped up the season undefeated in the division with one loss overall. They also had a nice 11 game win streak too. The main strength of this team was the ability to rush like crazy. That is how they won the championship. They ran 56 times for 229 yards. Pretty good for a high school team.

On Saturday, the Chenango Forks HS Football team will be honored with a parade. Very fitting! The Whale will be proud to be there to celebrate.

The parade will start at about 2 pm at the high school, so we hope you will join in honoring these hard working kids.
