Ian Anderson, lead singer of Jethro Tull was born August 10th 1947 in Scotland. His family later moved to England, and in his teens years, Ian formed his first band, singing lead on vocals. As time went on,he learned how to play the flute, and with a bit of practice, it became a big part of his musical career.

In 1967 Ian began with the band Jethro Tull, with various members coming and going over the years through 2014. Some of their biggest songs include Living In The Past, Aqualung, Thick As A Brick, Minstrel In The Gallery, and my favorite, Too Old To Rock-n-Roll, Too Young To Die.

Ian has a total of 8 solo albums, 6 being studio versions and 2 love recordings. For this birthday celebration, let's enjoy Too Old to Rock-n-Roll, Too Young To Die. Happy 68th birthday, Ian. Let's hope you continue to Rock-n-Roll for a long time to come!
