Started in 1984 to unite neighborhoods, create a positive synergy with law enforcement agencies and send a message to criminals, letting them know that neighborhoods are standing their ground against crime in the community.

Held each year on the first Tuesday in August, the event has grown from 2 and a half million the first year to almost 38 million in all 50 states, Canada and military bases world wide.

The city of Binghamton will have events and entertainment at several of the city parks and as well as other locations.

This is open to all neighborhoods and you are highly encourage to participate
