Paul McCartney released the album "McCartney" on April 17th, 1970 in the UK, and on April 20th in the US.
This was the same time The Beatles were having troubles, and of course broke up.

The album came out at number two on the UK charts, stayed there for three weeks and by the 15th of May, it had over 1 million copies sold in the US
