The lead guitarist of 'Poison' celebrates his 53rd birthday today.

This future hairband singer was born May 14th, 1962 in Brooklyn, NY as Bruce Anthony Johannesson. He was among many rockers who became interested in music at a young age. Some of his musical influences include Led Zeppelin, Queen, Kiss and The New York Dolls.

The name C.C. Deville refers to Cadillac Coup DeVille, but as far as we know, Bruce never gave a reason for choosing that stage name. C.C. has played for several bands in his career, but is most famous for 'Poison', a band he joined in the 80s after relocating from New York to Los Angeles.

C.C. Deville is not known for just being in a rock band. He has also appeared on Television shows, including 'The Surreal Life.' Let's spend some time with C.C. Deville and 'Poison' performing 'Talk Dirty To Me' at the 1991 MTV Awards Show.
