Do I look forward every year to Binghamton Restaurant Week? Um, yea. That's a no-brainer. It began Tuesday (10/18) and goes through October 27th, featuring close to 30 Binghamton area restaurants.

There are many options for lunch and dinner, all 3 or 4 course meals, and the price is very reasonable.

I wasted no time making a reservation for day one. That location was Burger Mondays Bar & Grille on the corner of State and Henry Street, downtown Binghamton. Kathy Whyte joined me for dinner.

Burger Mondays features a 3 course dinner with several selections to choose from. Kathy chose a garden salad for the appetizer and I chose the Guinness Chili. The chili was very good, and contained a good amount of meat.

For the main selection (second course), Kathy ordered the Falafel Burger, featuring house made chick pea and spice falafel, and I chose the Traditional Burger.  Both are a good size, and really tasty.

For the third course, the dessert, we both chose the Blueberry and Peach Spice Cake. It was difficult to eat only because we were full from the appetizer and main course! But you know me, I devoured it anyway, because well, it was delicious! You can see all our selections above.

This is your opportunity to experience all that Binghamton area restaurants offer. Take a look at the participating restaurants and their menus, and then go enjoy great food from local establishments during Binghamton Restaurant Week!
