The Broome County Firefighters’ Association is holding a safety day June 9 at the Oakdale Mall near Harry L. Drive.

There will be car seat safety inspections, child ID cards, games, sand art, a fire station bouncy house, fire trucks and more.

The Firefighters’ Association is still trying to raise money to replace the Fire Safety Trailer that allows children and adults to experience what it is like to escape from a burning building as well as learn about fire prevention.  The old trailer will be on-site for June 9th’s Safety Day.
