The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for a good chunk of Upstate New York for this evening.

According to the National Weather Service:

 A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely, these conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.

The warning covers Western New York, Central New York, The Hudson Valley, and The Capital Region.

Binghamton could see a low temperature of around 32 degrees while deposit may dip into in the 20's.

The influx of cold air could also mean snow for the region. According to the National Weather Service- Binghamton map, we could see 1 to 2 inches of light snow. The snow will most likely appear in higher elevations, but will not stick to the roads.

According to the US National Weather Service Binghamton NY Facebook page:

It won't amount to much, but ❄️ will be seen in parts of Central NY and far Northern PA tonight. Blustery and cold, with gusts to 35 mph as temperatures plummet; mostly near to slightly below freezing by dawn Thursday.
