Maybe you and your friends have decided that 2018 is the year you’re going to finally start seeing more of each other. My friend and I vowed that we were going to make more time to see each other face-to-face this year and then the new year hit and so did the craziness of life. We weren’t going to let another year go by with all the insanity of life stealing our in-person time together and so we decided to get two things done at once. Grocery shopping for our individual households, but doing it together while chatting and catching up on life. A win-win!

If you’ve promised your friends that this is the year you’ll actually spend more time with them in person, why not kick off that promise at a fun bowling tournament to benefit the Broome County Humane Society?

Bowl-A-Rama will take place on Saturday, January 27th at Midway Lanes on North Jensen Road in Vestal. Lane assignments will be given at 1:30pm and bowling will begin at 2pm. Each person pays $25 and that covers three games of bowling, shoe rental, pizza, wings, and soda. There will also be a cash bar, 50/50 basket raffles, and a bake sale. All proceeds benefit the Broome County Humane Society.

The Broome County Humane Society requests that payment be made by January 25th. So, if you’d like to register yourself and your friends, reach out to Kim Broderick at 607- 724-3709 ext. 107 or send her an email at kbroderick@bhumanesoc.com.

The Broome County Humane Society is an independent, non-profit animal welfare organization. The shelter receives no government funding and they rely solely on donations and on fundraising events.
