July 7th, 1984,'Born In The U.S.A. was the number one album in the USA.

The LP from Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band spent a total of 139 weeks on the US album chart and was one only one of three to contain 7 top ten singles. Born In The U.S.A. was released in June of 1984, being the seventh effort from The Boss. It had quite a different feel from Bruce's previous album 'Nebraska'.

Born in the U.S.A. turned out to be the best for Bruce Springsteen, selling about 30 million copies around the world. The album was supported by a 2 year long tour. It was voted many times as one of the best rock albums ever. Every song on the LP is a gem, from  the first song on side A - Born In The U.S.A. to the last song on side B - My Hometown.

In between, hits included Dancing In The Dark, Cover Me, Glory Days, I'm On Fire and Darlington County to name a few. On the anniversary of this amazing album, let's enjoy Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band performing back in 1985 at a show in Paris, France.
