Black Sabbath Concentrating On the Music

According to an interview Ozzy Osbourne did with the New Zealand Herald, Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi and himself are now solely focusing on the music. Back in the day, they were concerned about drugs, alcohol and who’s ego was more important but now that they seem to have done it all, that is in the past. The band also appears to be getting along great according to reports- minus drummer Bill Ward that is who is not working on the album with the other members.

This makes one wonder, did the drugs have something to do with the great music that was produced in the past? Do you think this album will be better than the music they produced in the 70′s? I personally think that there is a certain time and space for everything. If they were on drugs at the time they produced their greatest music, then so be it. Who are we to judge where great songs come from on drugs or not? What’s your opinion- let’s hear it below!

Oh and last but not least, the new album should be out sometime this spring!
