Binghamton’s Ross Park Zoo has a new addition in the form of a rescued coyote puppy.

Officials say the arrival of Magnus comes in time to celebrate Take Your Dog to Work Day in an unusual way.

The three week old pup was found by Paws Animal Wildlife Sanctuary in Waterloo, South Carolina with no sign of a mother or other pups.

The sanctuary had to find a place for Magnus since the law in South Carolina would not allowed him to be released in the wild.

Ross Park had room and facilities, so they took the now 8 month old pup to Binghamton at the Binghamton of the month and are socializing with him.

More information about Magnus can be found at www.rossparkzoo.com/magnus.
