Binghamton Restaurant Week is back for their fall offering. Can you say, yum?

I was fortunate to be able to be treated to one of the restaurants last week to see just what it's all about and to sample what the Binghamton food industry has to offer.

My visit was to Sake' Tume, located on Court Street, Downtown Binghamton. This is an amazing place to try some great offerings.

My 3 course meal began with the Lotus Root Chips. I have never before experienced this type of appetizer. And the Chef surprised me with an offering a their Spicy Crab Salad. There was good amount of crab mixed, and it was delicious! I could order one or tow more of these appetizers and made it my meal.

For the second course, you can choose items from either the Sushi Bar or the Kitchen. My eyes focused in on the Kitchen section, and ordered the Cashew chicken, featuring spicy chicken, Thai chili sauce, onion, bell pepper, & scallion over jasmine rice. One word - Delicious. There is more than enough to fill you up.

The third course is the dessert. I chose the berry cake with a little dollop of a green tea mousse on the side.

Jessica, the waitress, was wonderful. But we have to say every single person from the chef to the person filling the water glasses were so lovely to everyone in the restaurant.

Check out all the deals for Restaurant Week for a few more days with three course lunch meals. Enjoy!
