Investigators have released video in an effort to find the man who shattered a window at a downtown Binghamton business during the booze-fueled SantaCon weekend.

Police say they are trying to identify the suspect in the vandalism that happened during the early morning hours of Sunday, December 3.

In a Facebook post, detectives did not name the business that was damaged. The message indicated the man kicked a window "causing it to shatter."

Two short video clips show the suspect walking with a half-dozen other people on what appears to be Court Street. Time snaps on the images indicate the pictures were recorded around 6:20 a.m.

Police said the man they are looking for was wearing tan pants, a hat and a red plaid shirt.

Detectives urged anyone with information about the man's identity to contact them at 607.772.7080.

Police previously had said they were aware of few problems associated with the annual cold-weather bar crawl known as SantaCon. Some people who were downtown during the event had complained that many of the participants were "falling-down drunk."
