The Binghamton Mets are heading to the Eastern League Championship game after a 20 year absence. Eastern League champs in 1992 and 1994 they are unbeaten in the final series.

Coming off a divisional series that went the distance with game 5 on the road, our Binghamton Mets pulled out a 8-5 win against Portland on Sunday.

Binghamton will take on the Richmond Flying Squirrels tonight in Richmond with the best of 5 series coming back to NYSEG stadium in Binghamton on Friday.

The series will end here and fans are hoping for at least a split on the road.

This team has displayed excellent chemistry all year with hitting, fielding and pitching.
