Binghamton High School to Offer Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner
For the 22nd year, students and staff at Binghamton High School will give up their Thanksgiving to prepare and serve a full-course Thanksgiving meal to thousands of people who live in and around Binghamton.
The annual Binghamton High School Thanksgiving Day Community Dinner is made possible through donations from the greater Binghamton community, as well as through funds raised by members of the Binghamton High School National Honor Society and the number of people who take advantage of this free meal is staggering.
*According to Binghamton High School, the shuttle service will run as follows:
11am- Franklin Elementary School on Conklin Avenue
11:15am- North Shore Towers on Isbell Street
11am Greater Binghamton Transportation Center on Chenango Street
11:15am First Ward Senior Citizen Center on Clinton Street
Please note that home delivery and 'take home' meals will not be available.
*The shuttle buses will be yellow First Student buses and will start at 11am and run non-stop to and from Binghamton High School until 1:30pm when the buses will leave the school to return people to where they were picked up.
