According to the Binghamton Devils, a crowd of more than 1,500 gathered at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena in downtown Binghamton on Saturday to witness the unveiling of the team's new logo and jersey.

Daniel Cherry, New Jersey Devils Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer said, "We are excited to reveal this new logo that will establish a new era for hockey in Binghamton. The Binghamton Devils logo honors the three-time Stanley Cup winning heritage of New Jersey while creating a fresh, new brand look for the AHL and our AHL jersey partner CCM.

The Devils are in Binghamton to stay for the next five years as Binghamton has a five-year contract with the Devils, the longest contract negotiated by the Devils and an AHL team.

Tom Mitchell, Vice President of Operations for the Binghamton Devils said, "It is great to see all the fans, local leaders, and New Jersey Devils come out for this historic event in Binghamton hockey history. The logo and uniforms create a new and exciting look for our fans.”

The Binghamton Devils home opener is Saturday, October 7th against the Sound Tigers.
