Binghamton Career Fair Planned

The Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Project Homecoming Career Fair December 29.

Chamber officials said they expected over 50 companies to participate.  The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Oakdale Mall.

Participants should bring many copies of their resumes and the New York State Department of Labor will store copies in a data-base for future access by companies attending the job fair.

Workforce New York and Labor Department representatives will be available to answer questions.

The event typically draws hundreds of prospective job-seekers to the mall every year.
