My job as a radio personality allows me to reach many people on a regular basis.
I have always felt that with the power of the airwaves, a radio station has an obligation to help people and organizations in the community.

Each week there are several public service requests sent in regards to community events, and just like you, some of these hit home with me.

The one I am about to mention is dear to me because it involves a family I have known for over 30 years.

Recently Jenny Finch was diagnosed with cancer in her lung; this was sudden and came without notice, so the family is devastated.

While Jenny is in our prayers, the family has put together a benefit to help with some of the medical costs that are associated with cancer treatment.

We have all had loved ones stricken by this disease so I think we can all relate to the Finch family.

Friday October 10th from 11a to 8p

Chenango Fire station on Castle Creek road across from Mary’s Bar RT11,

Spaghetti and Meatball Dinner $10 adult’s, $6 children between 6 and 12 under 6 are free

Carry Outs… Ton of Raffles,
