Beer Tasting Event Comes to Binghamton [VIDEO]

“I like beer, it makes me a jolly good fellow”, is a line right out of a Tom T. Hall song and yes, I am a beer drinker.

I normally drink a light beer for the obvious reasons. It’s less filling and it tastes good too, but a few years ago a friend of mine turned me on to IPA beer, which stands for India Pale Ale, and let me tell you, this is probably the most flavorful brew I’ve ever had!

Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy dark beers as well. Back in the 70’s they called it 'Bock Beer', which was a stronger, dark beer that usually was only available at certain times of the year.

The whole process of brewing beers has gotten very creative, with flavored beers and lots of  IPA’s.

99.1 The Whale just happens to have a great beer tasting event coming up on February 21st at the Double Tree by Hilton on Water Street, Binghamton! We’re calling it 'Binghamton On Tap'.

This is a great opportunity to sample about 100 different types of beer from at least 50 different breweries all in once place. Spread the word, this is a great way to find a few new types of Brew-Skies you can enjoy at your leisure.
