Both Binghamton Bearcats basketball teams will be back in action this Saturday after a week off for student athletes to take final exams.  The teams will play back to back games at the Events Center on Saturday.

The BU men start the day off with a 2 PM tip against the Delaware State Hornets.  It is the first ever meeting between the two teams.  The Hornets are 3-8.  One of those victories was a 79-72 win at St. John's.  In their last game Delaware State posted a 92-69 win over Keystone.

Binghamton's last outing was an overtime loss to Loyola, Md. by a final of 90-85. The Bearcats were ahead by as many as 16 points with less than eight minutes to play in regulation but were outscored 12-2 down the stretch and fell in overtime.  That puts the BU record at 7-5 and the seven wins gives Binghamton the most non-conference wins in its time at the Division I level.

Both games will be broadcast on News Radio 1290 WNBF on Saturday.  Coverage begins at 1:45 PM.
