Be Ready to Rumble in Two Weeks

Spring has sprung and that means baseball season is only days away. Two weeks from today, Thursday, April 5th, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies will open up their second season at NYSEG Stadium by hosting Portland Sea Dogs, the Boston Red Sox double-a affiliate for a four-game set.

The annual Meet the Rumble Ponies Dinner is set for April 3rd. It's being held at the Holiday Inn Downtown Binghamton this year and tickets are on sale now at the Rumble Ponies box office.

According to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies website, there will be 15 firework nights this year weather permitting. There will be some awesome promotions this year as well. According to the website, the first 1,000 fans in attendance on opening night will receive fleece blankets. And if you are a fan of the New York Mets or the New York Yankees, You might want to check out the game on July 20th. where they will be giving away an "instant upgrade", where one winner will win receive four tickets to the Subway Series at Yankee Stadium the following night, July 21st.

I don't know about you, but I can't wait to be sitting at NYSEG Stadium on a warm night with a cold beer in one hand and great food in the other hand while watching some great minor league baseball.
