1974 was a good year to be a part of Bad Company. For it was that year, Mick Ralphs, Boz Burrell, Simon Kirke and Paul Rodgers had come together and recorded their debut album - 'Bad Company.'

Boz came from King Crimson, Mick was previously with Mott The Hoople, Paul and Simon had been rockin' with the band Free. Sort of a super-band if you will.

Their debut album 'Bad Company' topped the US album chart in 1974, and contained some great songs, including the title track, Rock Steady, Can't Get Enough, Ready For Love, and my favorite Seagull.

Between 1974 and 1996, Bad Company recorded 12 albums. Even though they've had some personnel changes over the years, they still continue to tour. There's a lot to be said for bands such as this who have stayed strong since their inception.

For this week's Classic Rock pick, enjoy this music video of Bad Company performing Seagull.
