Broome County and the Binghamton Senators have announced an extension of their lease agreement for the use of the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena through the 2018-19 season.  The deal was announced before last night's (1/13/16) Binghamton home game versus the Syracuse Crunch.

The agreement adds one more year to the lease that was in place.  The new deal matches the time frame of the affiliation contract Binghamton has with the Ottawa Senators.  Both agreements now run through the 2018-19 campaign.

Binghamton has been the American Hockey League affiliate of the Ottawa Senators since the 2002-2003 season.  The Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena has been the home to professional hockey since 1973 when the Broome Dusters were members of the North American Hockey League.
