He hosts his own radio show, has promoted concerts and played in several bands including, but not limited to, Rainy Day Saints, The Chamber Strings, The Cynics, New Salem Witch Hunters, Guided By Voices, Death Of Samantha, and Captain Groovy & His Bubblegum Army.   Favorite bands-Cheap Trick, The Monkees, Sparks, Motorhead, Beach Boys, Rockpile, XTC,Van Der Graaf Generator, Sweet, Bob Dylan,etc. Favortie color- paisley. 45 Years Ago: Led Zeppelin Play Together for the First Time

On Aug. 12, 1968, in a small space on Gerrard Street in the west end of London, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and John Bonham played together for the very first time. The first song the band -- which would later be named Led Zeppelin -- tore into was 'The Train Kept A-Rollin',' which was a fixture in Page's previous band, the Yardbirds.

Mike Love Wants Brian Wilson Back in the Beach Boys

Last year, as the Beach Boys' 50th-anniversary tour wrapped up, Mike Love announced that the group would be hitting the road again, but without original members Al Jardine, David Marks and leader Brian Wilson. 35 Years Ago: Grace Slick Quits Jefferson Starship After Drunken Germany Show

By the middle of 1978, Jefferson Airplane had upgraded to Starship and were in the process of running out of fuel. The band (including singer Grace Slick) was on tour in Europe to promote the recently released 'Earth' album when a stop in Germany deteriorated into a confusing mess. "She'd always had a thing about Germany," wrote Jeff Tamarkin in the band bio 'Got a Revolution!' "All things Deutsche brought out the worst in her."
