I own a few autographed guitars. I don’t think they are worth a lot, but check this out.

A Guitar that was owned by the late Jerry Garcia of The Grateful Dead just sold at a charity auction for 1.9 million dollars.

The guitar that Jerry named “Wolf” was most recently owned by Deadhead Daniel Pritzker. Pritzker, who is a film director, musician and philanthropist, purchased the guitar for $790,000 back in 2002.

Wolf was played by Jerry all over the world and was seen in the 1977 film “The Grateful Dead Movie”

According to Rolling Stone, the proud new owner is the C.E.O. of HubSpot, Brian Halligan. The auction, which was held in New York, raised over three million dollars for the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Alabama.

Jerry Garcia passed away in 1995. He was 53.
