I can be such a nerd! When I figured out what Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was, it took me back to when I was growing up and Wonder Woman, the Six Million Dollar Man, the Incredible Hulk and Batman were my typical TV fare. There's nothing like mixing reality with saving the world.

Yes, the '70's and '80's shows look low budget, but at the time, they were ground breakers. How else would a bionic guy be born? And Batman was a good mix of humor and action. Effects weren't really taken seriously, I will admit!

There really hasn't been anything comparable, idea-wise, on TV since; at least in my estimation. Until now! It's kind of like a more fun Men In Black/Avengers theme.

The show is a spin off of the Avengers movie and full of big screen action. I dare say it's the first of it's kind television experience. And now superheroes are not necessarily caped. That will take some getting used to.

Oh how TV has changed. Remember when action looked like these shows?
