A Way to Give This Holiday – Go to ‘The Big Give’

It is definitely the season of giving and the Southern Tier does it so well!

Friday night, New Life Ministries is hosting the Big Give, a Christmas concert that benefits their food bank ministry.

It is at their building, 201 Hill Avenue in Endicott and feature the talented local group When Ocean's Rise. The doors open at 6:30 and the show is at 7.

The food banks in the area are depleted by the end of the holidays, so this concert will help lessen that blow.  Non-perishable food donations are appreciated and the tickets are $5 per person or $20 for a family of 4 people or more.

If you want to give a credit donation, there will be stations set up for that as well.

The interesting thing about food banks is that at any given time, people from all walks of life use their services. I relied on one a few years back for a month. You could be helping out neighbors, co-workers or other people you know and have no clue.
