Saturday April 4th, we will experience a total Lunar Eclipse. It will be short. That's what she said.

It will take about an hour and 45 minutes to reach total eclipse, and will last for about 4 minutes and 43 seconds. The best viewing will be on the west coast, because it will begin just after 3am PST. That translates to sunrise time on the east coast, so we will be out of luck.

If you really need to see the lunar eclipse, get west of the Mississippi River, or wait until the next one, which will occur on September 28th, 2015. Happy viewing, or not.
