MMA Fighter Kimbo Slice Has Died At Age 42

Bellator MMA has confirmed late last night that Kevin Ferguson, better known as Kimbo Slice, passed away late last night. 42-year-old Kimbo Slice began as a Miami backyard bare-knuckle brawler, but transitioned into a legitimate MMA fighter when he competed in the Spike television show "The Ultimate Fighter: Season 10"

The CEO of Bellator MMA confirmed the news [Via TMZ]:

“We are all shocked and saddened by the devastating untimely loss of Kimbo Slice, a beloved member of the Bellator family." Details surrounding Kimbo’s death are unclear. We’re working on it.

To say that Kimbo was a tough guy, is a bit of an understatement - he certainly looked the part as well. However, he was a bit of a "gentle giant", and made friends with most everyone he crossed paths with.

All across social media, the outpouring of support for his family, and condolences are far-reaching.
