This past weekend while most of us were busy tuning up the lawnmower and other spring like tasks, the NFL was in Chicago for the 2015 draft, so here's my first of a three part blog on how our New York teams did in with this years selections, starting with the New York Giants.
Big Blue had the 9th first round pick in the NFL draft, and made a very good choice in selecting Miami offensive lineman Ereck Flowers.

This guy is big, talented, and likes to block and create openings for the running game, many fans and sports reporters have blamed Eli Manning for the Giants poor performances over the past 3 seasons, but the real problem has been the offensive line, I give the Giants an A+ for choosing another piece of a missing offensive line.

The Giants second round draft pick was Alabama Safety Landon Collins, a guy who is very talented and can play various versions of safety,, I think what makes Landon a great pick is his versatility, with injuries a big part of the NFL game, he can adjust and play different positions in the back field, again I give the Giants and A on this one too.

Finally the Giants third round pick was UCLA Defensive End Owamagbe Odighizuwa, who has the speed and strength to help augment the Giants pass rush, another area they need to improve, I have to give the Giants another A for addressing these issues.

I believe that Eli Manning can get us to the Super Bowl again, this past weekend the team took three big steps in the development towards another magical season.

Go Giants!
