38 Special Concert Rescheduled

July 1st. 38 Special were ready to rock at Tioga Downs Casino in Nichols, but Mother Nature didn't cooperate. A strong cell of thunderstorms rolled through and put a hole in the roof of the stage that caused water to fall down all over the equipment and the drum set.

The show, which benefits the Southern Tier Veterans Support Group, will now take place on Friday July 28th. at 8 p.m.

If you have tickets from the original show you can turn them in at the Tioga Downs Gift Shop before July 20th at 9 p.m. and receive a ticket for the exact same seat. If you wait until after the July 20th deadline, you can still exchange your ticket, but it will be based on seat availability.

Remaining tickets will go on sale for 15 bucks to the general public after July 21st. They will be available at Ticketmaster and at Tioga Downs. All additional $15 dollar tickets sold will be matched personally by Jeff Gural and his wife Paula, owners of Tioga Downs.

Tioga Downs is hoping to reach their goal of $100,000. To help and aid veterans right here in the Southern Tier.
