The Honor Flight Network is an organization which helps to fulfill the dreams of our surviving veterans by providing them with free travel to see their memorial in Washington D.C., and while the trip to see their memorial is free for the veterans, it comes with a steep price for those who organize it.

According to the Twin Tiers Honor Flight, just one Honor Flight trip can cost upward of $70,000 and each honor flight is funded completely through donations (which are tax-deductible).

The Twin Tiers Honor Flight would like to be able to send local heroes to their memorials again this year, but to do so they'll need to raise quite a bit of money, and so they're hosting the 2nd Annual 'Ride for the Memories' and hope that you'll not only participate, but will also help spread the word.

The 2nd Annual Ride for the Memories will depart and return to the Finger Lakes Harley-Davidson on Saturday, July 22nd. The ride will take a beautiful tour of lake country.  Registration 9-10 am, departure 10:30, return around 12:30. Picnic and motorcycle games at the Finger Lakes Harley-Davidson. Meal included with ride price of $15 rider/$10

Registration for the ride is from 9am-10am with the ride departing at 10:30am and returning at 12:30pm.  The cost is $15 per person, $10 per rider with a meal included in the price. The first 80 people to register will receive a commemorative pin.

Following the ride, there will be bands, entertainment, and a 50/50 raffle from 12pm-3pm at the Finger Lakes Harley-Davidson. A donation of $5 is suggested for those wishing to eat, but not ride.

If you'd like more information or would like to donate something to the raffle, please reach out to PGR Ride Captain, Kent Tryon at
