2017 Concert Season is Ready to Rock

Back in February of this year, the announcements began. Concert announcements that is. In the dead of winter, it's sweet news being able to announce summer shows as we're digging out of snowstorms.

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts usually begins the announcements, and then come the others including - Dick's Sporting Goods Open concert, Mountain Jam at Hunter Mountain, Montage Mountain, Tags, Lakeview Amphitheater and the New York State Fair.

Mountain Jam at Hunter Mountain in Hunter, NY features a ton of great artists and bands including the Steve Miller Band and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

The Dick's Sporting Goods Open at Enjoie Golf Course in Endicott is bringing in Bon Jovi, Bethel Woods will feature shows including John Mellencamp, Foreigner with Cheap Trick,  Rod Stewart, Chicago with the Doobie Brothers, Blondie, Santana, plus Lynyrd Skynyrd with Hank WIlliams Jr.

Tags in Big Flats will rock this summer with George Thorogood and the Destroyers with Foghat and Molly Hatchet. Montage Mountain in Scranton has Boston with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and the Peach Music Festival. The Great New York State Fair in Syracuse is featuring the Marshall Tucker Band. Other rock shows are coming and will be announced soon.
