We've already unveiled the nominees in the Best New Live Album / Video category for the Ultimate Classic Rock Fan Choice Awards, and now we're going to go deeper into an act's timeline. You can vote for 2017's Best Archival Live Album / Video below.

Some of these releases document pivotal moments in a career, like the Rolling Stones appearing on the BBC in the early '60s, a collection of nights from Bob Dylan's born-again phase and the last days of the Yardbirds, shortly before Jimmy Page put together Led Zeppelin.

Others give official stamps of approval to oft-bootlegged shows, such as the Grateful Dead's famous 1977 show at Cornell University, Frank Zappa's Halloween run at New York's Palladium and Bruce Springsteen's set at the 2006 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, only eight months after Hurricane Katrina.

Two of the releases serve as tributes to departed bandmates. The Who's Live at the Isle of Wight 2004 was their first show after the death of John Entwistle and Asia's Symfonia: Live in Bulgaria 2013 came out shortly after frontman John Wetton died.

But the category isn't entirely about looking back. Chickenfoot's Best + Live featured "Divine Termination," the first new song from the supergroup since 2011.

Take a look the clips below and then make your selection. Voting for each of the 2017 Ultimate Classic Rock Fan Choice Awards categories ends on Jan. 2, 2018, at 11:59PM ET. As always, the winner will be decided solely by reader’s votes.
